KARACHI:
The management of sports channel Geo
Super is
said to have laid off 16 staff members including Bottomline Editor
Ahmad Daraz Khan.
Others who have reportedly been fired are four anchors,
sub-editors and a prominent Senior Sub Mansoor Ali Baig.
IThese
sackings were expected after Geo shut
down its Current Affairs and Creative Departments in March
rendering several staffers jobless.

launched in 2007 with the Dhamaka series
between Pakistan and New Zealand. Bottomline is
the channel’s 24x7 sports news ticker and super headline news.
Meanwhile, Rashid Ali Siddiqui, President of Pakistan Sports
