Two journalists killed in two days in Sindh; three persons killed in Larkana

LARKANA, (SANA): Two Journalists were gunned down in two days in Sindh, while three persons among a woman were killed in separate incidents here in Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot on Friday.
According to the reports, on Thursday a TV journalist Aurangzeb Tunio along with brother and his friend were gunned down by the armed men of Mugheri tribe in Lalu Rank city of Kamber-Shahdadkot, while in another print media journalist from Balochistan Sayed Tariq Kamal, a resident of 13-D Gulshan Karachi was abducted with his fried and found dead bodies at Liyari Nala told Karachi police.

While on Thursday, dozens of Mugheri tribes’ men opened indiscriminate fires at a local TV journalist Aurangzeb Tunio in his office along with his brother Rustam Ali and friend Deedar Khaskheli died on the spot.
The matter was a matrimonial dispute among a few days back, a girl Khushboo Mugheri left his home with Tanveer Tunio from Lalu Rank near village in Kamber-Shahdadkot
On the occasion, a large number of Mugheri tribesmen from their villages along with latest arms and ammunition reached Lalu Rank and started aerial firing and created a panic and fear in city, while the local trader’s shutdown their shops and markets.
Later, dozens of Mugheri tribesmen attacked the house of local journalist and robbed valuables and threatened the local TV reporter Aurangzeb, brother Rustam and relatives in Lalu Rank town.
The police could not reached on the spot to take the issue in hand or control the law and order situation, while after two days, one dozen armed Mugheri tribesmen attacked the office of a local TV journalist and started indiscriminate firing, which resulted in killing of TV reporter Aurangzeb Tunio along with his brother and friend.
The relatives of deceased journalist told that the killers belong to a criminal gang of Gulbahar of Mugheri tribe. The police Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot cordoned off the area after several hours and arrested few among the villagers and in a retaliation both sides firing with police by the criminals gang in the villages, but no major arrest of killers of Journalist and others on the occasion.
It is also pertinent to mention here that the Mugheri tribesmen in Kamber-Shahdadkot reported land grabbing, possession on the crops, and graveyard in Mahi Lorer village and threats to the poor villages were at the large.
A week back Mugheri tribesmen also snatched ready crop of a Larkana TV Journalist Munwer Rind and all set on fire by the armed Mugheri tribesmen, while media men took out protest against the culprits but police failed to take them.
The citizens and civil society has demanded that the criminal activities have been increased in Larkana and Kamber-Shahdadkot districts;
meanwhile Sindh Sahafi Sangat Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Naushehroferoze, Hyderabad, Dadu, Ghotki and other district Journalists took out protest demonstrations against the killing of innocent journalists. They demanded the Sindh government to protect the Media personnel in different parts of Sindh.
According to reporters, 22 year old youth Javed Ahmed Chandio resident of Behram committed suicide by Pistol fire at New Shaikh Zaid Colony Larkana due to domestic problems, in the jurisdiction of Waleed Police Station Larkana , the body of deceased was handed over to his heirs after the autopsy.
In another incident two motorcycles collided at Barkrani Tower resulting the Shoib Ahmed Rindh (22) resident of Bakrani road sustained critical injuries was rushed to CMC Hospital Larkana where he could not succumb to injuries, the dead body was handed over to relatives of deceased after the postmortem.
While in third incident 25 year old Waziran wife of Mir Muhammad Mastoi resident of Rahmat Pur Muhalla Larkana died in mysterious circumstances at her home , relatives of deceased woman told media that she had committed the suicide while the police contrary said that woman was suffocated to death, as the marks are visible on her neck , however the Rahmatpur police shifted the body to CMC Hospital for the medico legal formalities and handed over to her relatives , no case of incident could be registered while the police are investigating the matter.
