Islamabad—Students studying Mass Communication at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali
Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) have said that they
will adopt the field of journalism not as a profession but as an
obligation to serve their country and countrymen. This determination
came at the conclusion of an extra- curricular week which, beside other
activities, featured practical journalistic exercises at the Islamabad
campus.
Students said they are committed to empower the powerless in Pakistan by becoming their voice as media persons. Aspiring journalists said after completion of their education they will focus their journalistic pursuits.—APP
