The book is useful for graduation and post-graduation level students of Mass Communication and also for on-job training courses and workshops in broadcasting institutions. The book is an addition to a small number of books written on broadcast journalism in Pakistan.
The author has a vast experience in the electronic and print media. After retirement from the PBC as controller news and current affairs, he is now associated with the print media.
He has conceived, conducted and coordinated courses and workshops for the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development, Kuala Lumpur, Voice of America, Press Institute of Pakistan and Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Islamabad.
